Shenmue Series
The Shenmue Series is a collection of action-adventure video games created by Yu Suzuki and developed by Sega. The series began with the release of the first game, Shenmue, in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast. It follows the story of Ryo Hazuki, a young martial artist seeking revenge for his father's murder while exploring a richly detailed open world.
The series is known for its innovative gameplay mechanics, including real-time weather, day-night cycles, and a focus on narrative and character development. After a long hiatus, Shenmue III was released in 2019, continuing Ryo's journey and expanding the story further.
