Shemp Howard
Shemp Howard was an American actor and comedian, best known as a member of the comedy team, the Three Stooges. Born on March 11, 1895, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the younger brother of Moe Howard and Curly Howard. Shemp initially performed with his brothers in vaudeville before joining the Three Stooges in the 1940s, after Curly suffered health issues.
Shemp's comedic style was characterized by his expressive facial gestures and physical humor. He appeared in numerous short films and feature films with the Three Stooges, contributing to their popularity during the mid-20th century. Shemp Howard passed away on November 22, 1955.
