Shape-shifter
A shape-shifter is a being or creature that has the ability to change its physical form or appearance at will. This concept is often found in mythology, folklore, and fiction, where shape-shifters can transform into animals, other humans, or even inanimate objects. They are commonly associated with themes of deception, adaptability, and the fluidity of identity.
In various cultures, shape-shifters are depicted in different ways. For example, in Native American folklore, the Coyote is often portrayed as a trickster who can change shape. In European mythology, werewolves are a well-known type of shape-shifter, transforming from human to wolf during a full moon.
