Shangani Language
Shangani Language is a Bantu language primarily spoken by the Shangani people in parts of Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It is part of the larger Shona language group and shares similarities with other regional languages. The language is used in daily communication and cultural expressions among its speakers.
Despite its rich cultural heritage, the Shangani language faces challenges such as declining numbers of fluent speakers and limited formal recognition. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language through education and community initiatives, ensuring that it remains a vital part of the Shangani people's identity.
