Shaban
Shaban is the eighth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, known as the Hijri calendar. It is a significant month for Muslims, as it precedes the holy month of Ramadan. Shaban is often seen as a time for preparation, reflection, and increased devotion, as believers get ready for the fasting and spiritual activities of Ramadan.
During Shaban, many Muslims engage in additional prayers and charitable acts. The month is also associated with the practice of seeking forgiveness and making amends. Some traditions highlight the 15th night of Shaban, known as Laylat al-Bara'ah, which is considered a night of mercy and blessings.
