Shab-e-Barat
Shab-e-Barat, also known as the Night of Forgiveness, is observed on the 15th night of the Islamic month of Sha'ban. It is a significant night for Muslims, believed to be a time when Allah forgives sins and grants blessings. Many people engage in prayers, recitation of the Quran, and seek forgiveness for themselves and their loved ones.
On this night, it is customary for Muslims to visit graves, remembering deceased family members and friends. Special meals are often prepared, and some communities hold gatherings to share food and prayers. The observance of Shab-e-Barat varies across cultures, but the core theme of seeking mercy and forgiveness remains central.
