Serious Organised Crime Agency
The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) was a law enforcement agency in the United Kingdom, established in 2006. Its primary role was to combat serious and organized crime, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, and cybercrime. SOCA worked closely with other law enforcement agencies and international partners to disrupt criminal networks and protect the public.
In 2013, SOCA was replaced by the National Crime Agency (NCA), which took over its responsibilities and expanded its focus on tackling serious and organized crime across the UK. The NCA continues to collaborate with various agencies to enhance public safety and security.
