Senate of Mexico
The Senate of Mexico is one of the two chambers of the Congress of the Union, the legislative body of Mexico. It consists of 128 senators, with each of the 32 states electing four senators. Senators serve six-year terms and can be re-elected for additional terms.
The primary responsibilities of the Senate include creating laws, approving the federal budget, and ratifying international treaties.
