Semisonic
Semisonic is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group consists of lead vocalist and bassist Dan Wilson, guitarist John Munson, and drummer Jake Slichter. They gained popularity in the late 1990s with their hit single "Closing Time," which became an anthem for many and is often associated with the end of events.
The band's music blends alternative rock and pop elements, characterized by catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics. Their debut album, Great Divide, was released in 1996, but it was their second album, Feeling Strangely Fine, that brought them mainstream success.
