Selznick International Pictures was an American film production company founded by producer David O. Selznick in 1935. The studio is best known for producing the iconic film Gone with the Wind in 1939, which became one of the highest-grossing films of all time and won multiple Academy Awards.
The company was influential during the Golden Age of Hollywood, producing several notable films throughout the 1940s. However, it faced financial difficulties and was eventually dissolved in 1948.
