Secular Orders
Secular Orders are communities within the Catholic Church that allow laypeople to live out their faith while engaging in the secular world. Members commit to following a specific spiritual rule or charism associated with a religious order, such as the Franciscans or Dominicans, while maintaining their everyday lives, jobs, and families.
These orders emphasize personal spiritual growth, community service, and adherence to the teachings of the Church. Members often participate in regular meetings, prayer, and activities that reflect their commitment to their faith, fostering a deeper connection to both their spirituality and the broader community.
