Sebastián Caboto
Sebastián Caboto was an Italian explorer and navigator born around 1474. He was the son of the famous explorer John Cabot, who is known for his voyages to North America. Sebastián worked for both the Spanish and English crowns, undertaking expeditions to explore new territories in the Americas.
Caboto is best known for his exploration of the Rio de la Plata region in South America during the early 16th century. He aimed to find a passage to the Pacific Ocean and establish trade routes. His journeys contributed to the European understanding of South America's geography and resources.
