Seawolf class
The Seawolf class is a class of nuclear-powered fast attack submarines used by the United States Navy. Designed for deep ocean anti-submarine warfare, these submarines are known for their advanced stealth capabilities and high speed. The class includes three submarines: USS Seawolf, USS Connecticut, and USS Jimmy Carter.
Commissioned in the 1990s, the Seawolf class was developed to counter advanced threats from the former Soviet Union. With a displacement of about 9,000 tons, they are equipped with sophisticated sonar systems and can carry a variety of weapons, including torpedoes and cruise missiles, making them versatile in various naval operations.
