Sea Spray
Sea spray is the tiny droplets of water that are created when waves crash against the shore or collide with each other. This process occurs when the energy from the waves breaks the surface tension of the water, sending small particles into the air. Sea spray can contain salt, organic matter, and other substances from the ocean.
These droplets can travel long distances, carried by the wind. Sea spray plays a role in the Earth's climate by influencing cloud formation and precipitation. It also contributes to the salinity of coastal areas and can affect local ecosystems, including marine life and coastal vegetation.
