Scout Oath
The Scout Oath is a pledge taken by members of the Boy Scouts of America and other scouting organizations. It emphasizes the commitment to duty, loyalty, and service to others. Scouts promise to do their best to uphold the values of trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness, friendliness, courtesy, kindness, obedience, cheerfulness, thriftiness, bravery, cleanliness, and reverence.
By reciting the Scout Oath, scouts affirm their dedication to these principles and their responsibility to themselves, their community, and their country. This oath serves as a guiding framework for scouts as they engage in various activities and strive to become responsible citizens.
