Scottish Fire and Rescue Service
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is the national fire and rescue service for Scotland, established in 2013. It was formed by merging eight regional fire and rescue services to create a more efficient and effective organization. SFRS is responsible for responding to fires, emergencies, and providing safety education to the public.
SFRS operates across Scotland, with numerous fire stations and personnel dedicated to protecting communities. The service not only tackles fires but also responds to road traffic collisions, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies. Additionally, SFRS promotes fire safety awareness through community engagement and prevention programs.
