"Schitt's Creek" features the wealthy Rose family, who lose their fortune and are forced to live in the small town of Schitt's Creek. The family includes Johnny Rose, the patriarch and former video store magnate; Moira Rose, his eccentric wife and former soap opera star; and their adult children, David and Alexis, who each struggle to adapt to their new life. The townspeople, including Ewans and Stevie Budd, provide a contrast to the Roses. Ewans is the quirky mayor, while Stevie runs the local motel and becomes a close friend to the family. Together, they navigate the challenges of life in a small town.
