Satyam Computers
Satyam Computers was an Indian IT services company founded in 1987 by Ramalinga Raju. It provided a range of services, including software development, consulting, and business process outsourcing. The company grew rapidly and became one of the leading IT firms in India, serving clients globally.
In 2009, Satyam faced a major scandal when it was revealed that the company had falsified its financial statements. This led to a significant loss of trust and a decline in its market value. Eventually, Tech Mahindra acquired Satyam, and the company was rebranded as Mahindra Satyam.
