Sanctuary of Zeus
The Sanctuary of Zeus is an ancient religious site located in Olympia, Greece. It was dedicated to the god Zeus, the king of the Greek gods, and served as a major center for worship and athletic competitions. The sanctuary housed the famous Statue of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, created by the sculptor Phidias.
