Sancho II of Castile
Sancho II of Castile was a king who ruled from 1072 to 1076. He was the son of Ferdinand I of León and Castile and Sancha of León. Sancho II is known for his conflicts with his brothers, particularly Alfonso VI, which led to a turbulent reign marked by civil strife.
His rule ended when he was overthrown by his brother Alfonso VI, who took control of the kingdom. Sancho II's reign is often remembered for the internal struggles within the royal family and the challenges of maintaining power in a divided kingdom.
