Sancho II of Castile was a king who ruled from 1072 to 1076. He was the son of Ferdinand I of León and Castile and Sancha of León. Sancho II is known for his conflicts with his brothers, particularly Alfonso VI, which led to a turbulent reign marked by civil strife. His rule ended when he was overthrown by his brother Alfonso VI, who took control of the kingdom.
