San Isidore of Seville
San Isidore of Seville was a prominent scholar and theologian in the early 7th century, born around 560 AD in Hispania, now modern-day Spain. He became the Archbishop of Seville and is best known for his extensive writings, including the "Etymologiae," an encyclopedic work that compiled knowledge from various fields such as history, science, and grammar.
He is recognized as a Doctor of the Church and is the patron saint of the internet and computer users. His feast day is celebrated on April 4th, and he played a significant role in preserving classical knowledge during the decline of the Roman Empire.
