Saint Willibald
Saint Willibald was an English monk and missionary born around 700 AD. He is best known for his role in spreading Christianity in what is now Germany. Willibald was the son of Saint Richard, the King of Wessex, and he traveled to Rome to study and deepen his faith.
After his time in Rome, Willibald became the first bishop of Eichstätt in Bavaria. He is celebrated for his dedication to the church and his efforts in establishing monasteries. His feast day is observed on November 7, honoring his contributions to the Christian faith in Europe.
