Saint Vincent Pallotti
Saint Vincent Pallotti was an Italian priest born on April 21, 1795, in Rome. He founded the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, also known as the Pallottines, in 1835. His mission was to promote the idea that all Christians are called to be apostles and to spread the message of Jesus Christ.
Pallotti dedicated his life to serving the poor and promoting education. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among laypeople and clergy in the Church's mission. He was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius XII on January 20, 1963, and his feast day is celebrated on January 22.
