Saint Conrad
Saint Conrad, also known as Saint Conrad of Parzham, was a German Franciscan friar born in 1818. He is best known for his work as a porter at the Franciscan monastery in Bavaria, where he dedicated his life to serving others. His humility and kindness made a significant impact on the community, and he became known for his deep faith and commitment to the teachings of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Conrad was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1934, recognizing his virtuous life and the miracles attributed to him. His feast day is celebrated on April 21, and he is often invoked for help in times of need, particularly in matters of hospitality and service.
