Saint Clotilde
Saint Clotilde was a queen of the Franks and the wife of King Clovis I. She played a significant role in the Christianization of the Frankish people. Born around 474, she was a Burgundian princess who married Clovis, encouraging him to adopt Christianity, which eventually led to the conversion of many Franks.
After Clovis's death, Clotilde became a devoted Christian and was known for her piety and charitable works. She is often credited with founding several churches and promoting the faith throughout her kingdom. Saint Clotilde is celebrated as a saint in the Catholic Church and is recognized for her influence on early medieval Christianity.
