Sage Valmiki
Sage Valmiki is a revered figure in Hindu tradition, known primarily as the author of the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. He is often referred to as the "Adi Kavi," or the first poet, because he is credited with composing the first verse in Sanskrit literature. Valmiki's work narrates the life and adventures of Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and his loyal companion Hanuman.
According to legend, Valmiki was originally a bandit who transformed into a sage after a profound spiritual experience. He lived in a forest and dedicated his life to meditation and writing. His teachings emphasize the importance of dharma, or righteousness, and his contributions have had a lasting impact on Indian culture and literature.
