Safi'i School
The Safi'i School is one of the four major Sunni Islamic schools of jurisprudence, founded by the scholar Imam al-Shafi'i in the 9th century. It emphasizes the importance of both the Qur'an and the Hadith as primary sources of law, while also considering the consensus of scholars and analogical reasoning.
This school is known for its systematic approach to legal theory and its focus on the principles of justice and equity. The Safi'i methodology is widely practiced in various regions, including parts of Southeast Asia, East Africa, and Egypt, influencing many aspects of Islamic legal thought and practice.
