Safety Belt
A safety belt, commonly known as a seatbelt, is a device designed to secure occupants of a vehicle during a collision or sudden stop. It is typically made of strong fabric and is anchored to the vehicle's frame. When fastened, it helps to keep passengers in their seats, reducing the risk of injury by preventing them from being thrown forward or ejected from the vehicle.
Safety belts are an essential part of vehicle safety systems and are required by law in many places. They work in conjunction with other safety features, such as airbags, to provide maximum protection. Wearing a safety belt significantly decreases the likelihood of serious injury or death in accidents.
