Sabino Catfish
The Sabino Catfish, scientifically known as *Pseudoplatystoma corruscans*, is a freshwater fish native to the rivers of South America, particularly the Amazon River basin. This species is recognized for its distinctive appearance, featuring a long, slender body and a series of barbels around its mouth, which help it detect food in murky waters.
Sabino Catfish can grow quite large, reaching lengths of up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) and weighing over 100 pounds (45 kg). They are primarily carnivorous, feeding on smaller fish and invertebrates. Due to their size and unique characteristics, they are popular among aquarium enthusiasts and are also sought after in commercial fishing.
