STS-84
STS-84 was a space shuttle mission that took place from May 15 to May 24, 1997. The mission was launched aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis and was the fourth shuttle flight to the International Space Station (ISS). Its primary objective was to deliver supplies and equipment to the ISS and to conduct scientific research.
During the mission, the crew of STS-84 successfully transferred over 4,000 pounds of cargo to the ISS. The mission also included a spacewalk by astronauts Michael Foale and Thomas Jones to perform maintenance tasks. Overall, STS-84 contributed to the ongoing assembly and operation of the ISS.
