STS-118
STS-118 was a space shuttle mission that launched on August 8, 2007. The primary goal was to deliver and install the S5 truss segment to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission also included the delivery of supplies and equipment, as well as the addition of a new crew member, Barbara Morgan, who was the first teacher in space.
The shuttle Endeavour completed a total of 13 days in orbit before returning to Earth on August 21, 2007. During the mission, astronauts conducted several spacewalks to complete the installation of the truss and perform maintenance on the ISS. The successful mission contributed to the ongoing construction and operation of the space station.
