SSID
An SSID, or Service Set Identifier, is a unique name assigned to a wireless network. It helps users identify and connect to the correct network among many available options. When you search for Wi-Fi networks on your device, the SSID is what you see listed.
The SSID can be customized by the network owner, allowing for personalization. It typically consists of up to 32 characters and can include letters, numbers, and symbols. Keeping the SSID unique can enhance security by making it harder for unauthorized users to identify and access the network, such as those using Wi-Fi or routers.
