SS Fort St. James
The SS Fort St. James was a Canadian steamship built in 1921. It was primarily used for transporting goods and passengers along the waterways of British Columbia. The vessel played a significant role in the development of the region's economy by facilitating trade and travel.
In 1950, the SS Fort St. James was retired from service and eventually sank in 1955 near Fort St. James, British Columbia. Today, it is recognized as a historical artifact, representing the maritime heritage of the area and the importance of steamships in the early 20th century.
