SIJHL
The SIJHL, or Superior International Junior Hockey League, is a junior ice hockey league based in Canada and the United States. It was established in 2015 and is part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL). The league features teams primarily from Northern Ontario and Minnesota, providing a competitive platform for young players to develop their skills.
The SIJHL operates under the guidelines of Hockey Canada and aims to promote the sport at the junior level. Teams compete for the Bill Salonen Cup, which is awarded to the league champion each season, allowing players to showcase their talent and potentially advance to higher levels of hockey.
