SEGA 32X
The SEGA 32X is a video game console add-on released in 1994 for the SEGA Genesis. It was designed to enhance the graphics and processing power of the Genesis, allowing for more advanced games. The 32X connects directly to the Genesis and features its own set of hardware, including a 32-bit processor.
Despite its potential, the SEGA 32X faced challenges, including a limited library of games and a short lifespan. It was discontinued within a year, making it one of SEGA's less successful products. The 32X is often remembered as a unique but ultimately flawed attempt to extend the Genesis's capabilities.
