SAMs
SAMs, or Surface-to-Air Missiles, are weapons designed to target and destroy aircraft or other aerial threats. They are typically launched from the ground and can be used by military forces to protect airspace from enemy planes, drones, or missiles. SAM systems vary in range and capability, with some designed for short-range defense and others for long-range interception.
These missile systems can be mobile or stationary and often include radar and guidance systems to track and engage targets. Notable examples of SAMs include the Patriot missile system and the S-400, which are used by various countries to enhance their air defense capabilities.
