SAG Award
The Screen Actors Guild Awards, commonly known as the SAG Awards, are annual awards presented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). They honor outstanding performances in film and television, recognizing both individual actors and ensemble casts. The awards are determined by the votes of SAG-AFTRA members, making them unique in that they reflect the opinions of fellow actors.
The first SAG Awards ceremony took place in 1995, and since then, it has become a significant event in the entertainment industry. The awards are typically held in January or February and are often seen as a precursor to the Academy Awards and other major film and television honors.
