Sæhrímnir
Sæhrímnir is a mythical boar in Norse mythology, known for being a source of endless food for the slain warriors in Valhalla. Every day, Sæhrímnir is cooked and served for dinner, and by morning, it is fully restored, ready to be prepared again.
The boar is associated with the goddess Freyr and symbolizes abundance and nourishment. In Valhalla, the warriors, called Einherjar, feast on Sæhrímnir along with mead, preparing for their role in the final battle during Ragnarök. This cycle of death and rebirth highlights the themes of regeneration in Norse beliefs.
