S/mileage was a Japanese idol group formed in 2009 under Hello! Project. The group originally consisted of four members: Yuuka Maeda, Kanon Fukuda, Ayaka Wada, and Rina Katsuma. They gained popularity for their energetic performances and catchy songs, appealing to a young audience. In 2011, S/mileage underwent a significant change when they transitioned from a group of four to a larger ensemble, adding new members. They later rebranded as Angerme in 2014, continuing to release music and perform while maintaining their connection to the Hello! Project family.
