Russian Olympic Committee
The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) is the governing body responsible for organizing Russia's participation in the Olympic Games. It was established in 1912 and is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The ROC oversees the training and selection of athletes, as well as the promotion of Olympic values in Russia.
Due to various doping scandals, the ROC has faced sanctions, leading to restrictions on its athletes' participation in international competitions. Despite these challenges, the ROC continues to support athletes and promote sports development in the country, aiming to uphold the spirit of the Olympics.
