Royal Docks
The Royal Docks is a large area in East London, located along the River Thames. It includes three docks: the Royal Albert Dock, the Royal Victoria Dock, and the King George V Dock. Historically, it was a significant hub for shipping and trade, especially during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, it is undergoing redevelopment, transforming into a vibrant community with residential, commercial, and recreational spaces.
The Royal Docks is also home to the ExCeL London, a major exhibition and conference center, and the London City Airport, which provides easy access to international flights. The area features parks, waterfront promenades, and cultural attractions, making it a popular destination for both residents and visitors.
