Rose Kennedy Greenway
The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a linear park located in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. It stretches for about 1.5 miles and was created as part of the Big Dig project, which relocated the Central Artery highway underground. The park features gardens, walking paths, and public art, providing a green space for residents and visitors.
Opened in 2008, the Greenway connects several neighborhoods and offers various activities, including food trucks, seasonal events, and art installations. It is named after Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, the matriarch of the Kennedy family, honoring her contributions to the city and her commitment to public service.
