Rosalie Kunoth-Monks
Rosalie Kunoth-Monks is an Australian actress and activist, best known for her role in the 1955 film Jedda. Born in 1937 in Utopia, Northern Territory, she is a member of the Arrernte people. Her performance in Jedda made her one of the first Indigenous Australian actresses to gain recognition in the film industry.
