Rohingya People
The Rohingya people are a Muslim ethnic minority primarily from the Rakhine State in Myanmar. They have their own distinct language and culture, but they have faced significant persecution and discrimination in Myanmar, where they are not recognized as citizens. This has led to a humanitarian crisis, with many Rohingya fleeing to neighboring countries.
In recent years, large numbers of Rohingya have sought refuge in Bangladesh and other nations due to violence and oppression. The international community has raised concerns about their treatment and the need for humanitarian assistance, as many live in overcrowded camps with limited resources.
