Rohingya
The Rohingya are a Muslim ethnic group primarily from the Rakhine State in Myanmar. They have their own distinct language and culture, but they have faced significant persecution and discrimination in Myanmar, where they are not recognized as citizens. This has led to a humanitarian crisis, with many Rohingya fleeing to neighboring countries.
In recent years, thousands of Rohingya have sought refuge in places like Bangladesh, where they live in overcrowded camps. The international community has raised concerns about their treatment and the need for humanitarian assistance, as well as the importance of addressing the root causes of their displacement.
