Rocket Launching
Rocket launching is the process of sending a rocket into space. Rockets are powerful vehicles that use engines to produce thrust, allowing them to overcome Earth's gravity. They are typically launched from specialized sites called launch pads, where they are carefully prepared and fueled before takeoff.
During a launch, the rocket ignites its engines, creating a massive amount of force that propels it upward. As it ascends, the rocket may pass through different stages, shedding parts of its structure to reduce weight. This process allows it to reach high altitudes and, eventually, enter orbit around the Earth or travel to other destinations in space.
