Ringtail
The ringtail is a small mammal native to North America, particularly found in the western United States and parts of Mexico. It is known for its distinctive long, bushy tail with alternating black and white rings, which can be as long as its body. Ringtails are nocturnal and are skilled climbers, often residing in rocky areas or trees.
These animals primarily feed on small mammals, birds, insects, and fruits. They are solitary creatures and are part of the Procyonidae family, which also includes raccoons. Ringtails are sometimes referred to as "ringtail cats," although they are not felines.
