Right Lung
The right lung is one of the two lungs in the human body, located on the right side of the chest. It is larger and broader than the left lung, consisting of three lobes: the upper, middle, and lower lobes. This structure allows for efficient gas exchange, which is essential for breathing and supplying oxygen to the body.
The right lung is separated from the left lung by the mediastinum, which contains the heart, trachea, and other vital structures. The right main bronchus is wider and shorter than the left, making it more likely for inhaled objects to enter the right lung. Proper functioning of the right lung is crucial for overall respiratory health.
