Richard Montgomery
Richard Montgomery was a British Army officer who played a significant role during the American Revolutionary War. Born in 1738 in Ireland, he initially served in the British military before moving to America. Montgomery is best known for leading the Continental Army's invasion of Canada in 1775, where he aimed to capture Quebec.
