Richard Adams
Richard Adams was an English author best known for his novel Watership Down, published in 1972. The book tells the story of a group of rabbits seeking a new home and explores themes of survival, leadership, and community. It has been praised for its rich storytelling and depth of character.
Adams was born on May 9, 1920, in Newbury, England. He served in the British Army during World War II and later worked in the civil service. In addition to Watership Down, he wrote several other novels and stories, including Shardik and The Plague Dogs. Adams passed away on December 24, 2016.
